We are now accepting donations of new or gently used books.  While we value reading material of all kinds, we are especially interested in books that promote social consciousness.  You can drop them off at any GA at our new indoor HQ.  GAs are held Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 7pm.  The address is 500 W. Cermak, room 700.

If you want to buy books for us but aren’t sure which ones, take a look at our Wish List.  We’re adding titles all the time, so check back often!

Alternatively, you may drop off a gift certificate to a local bookstore to help us grow our collection.  The following are local bookstores we love:

Thank You!

In the spirit of the Occupy movement and in order to preserve transparency, we would like to enumerate monetary contributions to our library and thank our generous benefactors.

01/28/12: $200 gift certificate to Howard’s Books, donated by Lee and Nina Sandlin

Of course, HUGE thanks also goes out to everybody who has donated time and expertise to this venture, whether by building bookshelves, processing book donations, or maintaining our online presence.  To every person who dropped off a book or a boxful: thank you.  We could not do this without you.
